The founding company of Gruppo Forti, Impresa Lavori Ingg. Umberto Forti e Figlio S.p.A., has its headquarters in Ospedaletto (Pisa). Since 1926, it has specialised in ecology and in civil and industrial constructions for both private clients and public authorities, managing projects throughout Italy.

Over the course of decades, the company has developed extensive expertise in addressing environmental challenges – related to the transport and disposal of industrial waste – as well as in the construction of industrial districts, shopping centres, prestigious buildings, roads, viaducts, bridges and aqueducts.
